a
selfportrait

Description:
The self-portrait is a cube (40 X 40 x 40 cm) filled with minced meat.
According to which, a cube able to hold my body volume has a length of 40 cm.
The cube is built out of glass through which photographs of minced meat are
visible.
My person is thus reduced to fresh meat, stackable, easily arranged, exchangeable.
Everything that makes me human is pressed into a little cube. And what is the
outer shell? What remains if one's "self" is gone? When there is no
make-up and no smile, no clothes and no proportions?
The measuring:

The
volume of the body equals 64l of liquid
64
Liter = 64000cm³.
A
cube, that can keep the volume of my body has a side length of 40 cm.
